Import Leads from a CSV File and Enrich Them with LinkedIn Data

Import leads from sources outside of LinkedIn.

This guide explains how to import leads from a CSV file into Baseloop and automatically enrich their information with additional details from LinkedIn profiles.

Requirements

  • Baseloop account

  • CSV file containing lead information

Importing CSV File

  1. Go to your existing lead list or create a new one.

  2. Click "Import" and select "Import CSV".

  3. Upload your CSV file.

  4. Review automatic column mapping (if necessary, map to the correct fields).

  5. Preview your leads before importing.

  6. Click "Confirm" to import leads.

Enriching Leads with LinkedIn Data

  1. After import, click on "Table Actions".

  2. Find and select "Enriching Contact Action".

  3. Click "Create".

  4. Choose "Run" ⇒ then "Run All" to start the automation.

Notes

  1. To enrich leads, you need at least one of the following:

    1. First name, Last name, and Company Name

    2. LinkedIn URL (public or Sales Navigator URL)

  2. Enrichment adds information such as job titles, company details, and other publicly available LinkedIn profile data to your leads.

Tips

  1. Before confirming import, use the preview feature to check for any errors in your data.

  2. If you spot errors, you can delete the problematic leads before importing.

  3. Ensure your CSV file has accurate and complete information for best enrichment results.

  4. Consider running enrichment on a small batch of leads first to verify the quality of the enriched data.
