AI Web Scraper: Research Assistant

This guide introduces AI Web Scraper, Baseloop's powerful AI feature that can search the internet, visit websites, and gather data to complete your research tasks.

Use AI Web Scraper

  1. Go to your Baseloop list

  2. Click Table Action button → AI Web Scraper: Research Assistant

  3. Connect your OpenAI or Claude account (optional)

  4. Choose your preferred AI model

  5. Enter your research goal

  6. Click "Create"

  7. Click "Run" → "Run All" to start the automation

Example Goals

  1. Find company pricing models:

    • Input: "Research pricing model for [company domain]"

    • Output: Detailed pricing tiers and information

  2. Classify Companies as B2B or B2C:

    • Input: "Research [company name], determine if it sells to businesses or consumers. Use general search first, then check company website and LinkedIn if needed. Return only 'B2B', 'B2C', or 'Both'"

    • Output: B2B, B2C, or Both
