Credits and plans
In Baseloop, credits pay for the actions that find or create data for you: finding work emails and phone numbers, enriching companies and people, AI research, and Bit's own work in the chat. A paid action uses credits each time it runs on a row. Before you run a column, its panel shows what it typically costs, in credits per row, next to a coins icon.
See how many credits you have
The meter at the bottom of the sidebar shows the credits you have left out of your plan's amount. During a trial it also shows when the trial ends, and Upgrade plan takes you to your plans.

Settings → Billing shows the same balance under Credits.

Plans
Your plan sets how many credits you get each billing period and which features you have. Compare the plans and switch under Settings → Billing. Scheduled imports and enrichment, which keep a table up to date on their own, come with the Pro and Scale plans. So do imports from Sales Navigator and your CRM, and CRM columns that update or look up records. The free trial includes all of them.
Get more credits
On a paid plan, click Add extra credits under Credits on the Billing page (it reads Buy credits once you have run out). Each billing period has a limit on extra purchases; past it, move to a bigger plan.
Payment details and invoices
Click Customer portal at the top of the Billing page to change your payment method or billing details. Your invoices are listed on the same page.
Admins can also give each member a monthly credit limit: see Team and credit limits.
Common questions
Why did a column use more credits than its typical cost?
The cost in the column's panel is the typical bill per row. Heavy rows, which need more work than usual, pay for what they actually used.
Does chatting with Bit use credits?
Yes, from the same balance. A quick question uses little; a long research or a big build uses more. The columns Bit runs for you use credits like any column you run yourself.
I ran out of credits. What stops?
Paid actions cannot run until you have credits again, from extra credits or your plan's next billing period. Your tables and data stay as they are.
