Add and edit columns
Most work in a table happens in columns that run an action: find an email, enrich a company, ask an AI agent, update your CRM. Add one, change its settings whenever you need to, and update the cells it already filled.
Add a column
Click Add column at the end of the column headers. Suggested lists the most used actions. For a plain column you type into, pick Text or one of More types.

For any other action, choose All actions, or click Actions in the table's header. Search, or browse the AI, Enrichment, CRM & exports and Tools tabs. Each action shows its price per row; one marked with a plan name needs that plan.

The column's settings open on the right. Baseloop picks the table's matching columns as inputs where it can; check each one, and pick the rest.
Click Save & run 10 rows to try it on the first rows, or Save to run it later. The arrow next to it offers First row, First 100 rows and All rows.

How you'll know it worked
The new column appears at the end of the table. With Save & run 10 rows, its first 10 cells fill in as the run goes.
Edit a column
Click the column's header and choose Edit column (Edit formula on a formula column).

Change what you need and click Save.
Note: saving doesn't change cells the column already filled. They keep their results, and hovering one shows Settings changed. Re-run to update.

To update them, drag across the cells and choose Force run all cells in the bar that appears. It replaces their results and uses credits for each cell.
The same menu also renames the column, changes its color, duplicates, hides or deletes it.
If something goes wrong
The save button says "Missing fields". A required setting is still empty. Fill it in and the button comes back.
I changed the prompt but the results didn't change. Cells keep the result of the run that filled them. Select them and choose Force run all cells.
The panel says "A newer version of this action is available with improved features". Click Upgrade, then check the column's settings before you run it again.
Can I reuse a column's setup in another table? Yes. In the column's settings, open the ··· menu and choose Save as template. In another table, open a new column's ··· menu and choose Browse templates.
