Add a value from a result as its own column

An action returns more than its cell shows. Enrich company returns a company's industry, headquarters, size, founding year and more, while its cell shows only the name. Add any of those values as a column of its own, filled in for every row, without running the action again. It costs no credits.

Before you start

You need a column that has already run, such as Enrich company, Find work email or an AI agent.

Add the column

  1. Right-click a filled cell of that column and choose Open full value. Double-clicking the cell works too.

The cell menu with Open full value highlighted
  2. Everything the action returned opens on the right. Hover the value you want and click Add column. Search fields and values helps in long results.

  3. Check the Column name and click Add column.

Add to table, with the column name Headquarters

How you'll know it worked

The new column appears next to the others, filled in for every row that has a result. Its header starts with an arrow; hover the header to see which column it comes from.

The new Headquarters column, filled in for every company that was found

It updates by itself each time the source column runs again. In the full value, a value that already has a column shows Mapped to and that column's name.

Values inside a list

When the value sits in a list, such as several phone numbers or several people, Add to table asks for more:

  • Choose fields to include: take several fields from each item into one column, for example each person's name and title.

  • Include data from: All rows puts that value from every item of the list into one cell; This row only takes only the item you clicked.

To give each item of a list a row of its own, use a Send to table column instead.

If something goes wrong

The new column is empty on some rows. Those rows have no result in the source column yet, or the result has no such value, for example when the company was not found.

My AI agent column only shows "Response". The answers are inside the cell. Open its full value, hover an answer and click Add column.

Another column received "Found" instead of the data. A column that asks you to pick a column reads what the cell shows. Add the value you need as its own column first, then pick that column.
