Find work emails and phone numbers

Find work email and Find phone number look each person up and fill in their work email or phone number, verified, and you pay only for what is found. With your own provider accounts, they try several providers in the order you choose and stop at the first that finds the person.

Before you start

You need a table of people with, each in a column of its own:

  • Work email: first name, last name, and the company's name or website domain. A LinkedIn profile URL is optional and improves accuracy.

  • Phone number: first name, last name and company name. A LinkedIn profile URL is optional.

A full name in one column doesn't work: split it into first and last name first, for example with a formula.

Note: Find phone number needs a paid plan. During the trial it shows Starter in the menu.

Add the column

  1. Click Add column at the end of the column headers and choose Find work email (or Find phone number).

The add column menu with Find work email highlighted
  2. Check the inputs. Baseloop picks the table's matching columns where it can. Pick the Domain column if you have one: it finds the most emails.

The inputs: first name, last name, company and domain
  3. Click Save & run 10 rows. When the first results look right, run the rest from the column's run button.

How you'll know it worked

The cells fill in with emails or numbers. Not found means no provider had one for that person.

Work emails and phone numbers found for most people, Not found for some

Double-click a cell to see which provider found it and, for an email, how it was verified.

A work email's full value: deliverable, with the provider that found it

What it costs

  • Work email: credits only when the email is verified as deliverable. An email the company's mail server can't confirm (a catch-all address) still goes in the cell, for free. Not found and failed cells are free.

  • Phone number: credits only when a number is found.

The price per row shows at the top of the column's settings. On credits, the column uses Baseloop's own data provider.

Use your own provider accounts

Turn on Use my own API keys (free) in the column's settings to run it on your own accounts with providers such as Findymail, Prospeo, LeadMagic or Surfe. The column then uses no credits, and tries your providers one after another, stopping at the first that finds the person: more matches than any one provider gives. Add the keys under Settings → Integrations first, then choose the providers and their order in the column's settings.

If something goes wrong

No email was found for many people. Most often the domain is missing or wrong: use the company's website domain (example.com), not a LinkedIn page. The name columns may also hold extra text, such as a title, an emoji or both names in one column. Fix the inputs, then choose All empty & failed rows from the column's run button. Not found cells run again, and cost nothing if nothing is found again.

A cell failed. Hover it to read why. A provider problem usually passes: run the failed cells again later.

Is the email safe to send to? An email that cost credits was verified as deliverable. A catch-all email could not be verified either way, because the company's server accepts every address. Its full value shows that status.

Can I find personal emails? Not with Find work email. The Actions panel has separate actions for personal emails, under Enrichment.
